ABOUT ME
I’m an ex-offshore corporate financier, discretionary trust, and ETF investment consultant; based over time in SA, Brussels, Hong Kong and Singapore. My first ever job was as a safari guide in the Sabi Sands, Kruger National Park area of South Africa; and throughout my financial career here and overseas I have taken numerous sabbaticals to work on photographic safaris in order to “defrag,” recharge and reboot my psyche. Today I live in the Lowveld at the centre of SA’s safari region just outside the Kruger Park, where I write (ecoPhilosophy, ecoPsychology), create (landscapes in oil, and on 35mm black & white film), and lead walking safaris on wilderness trails. I have a deep love for, and intimate knowledge of, Southern/East Africa’s wild places that feed my mind, body and soul.
